Font Finder is a neat addon for Firefox that will tell you what css style that are used for any html text. Just select the text, right click and click Font Finder. A Javascript dialog will popup with the rgb value, font, font-size etc.
In 2007, Evan Roth and Ben Engebreth asked the internet to help them track Michael Jackson’s white glove in the famous televised . 72 hours they had a .txt file with the complete data set of his white glove for all 10,060 frames. Now everybody could pitch in with whatever crazy way they used the data set and could see others in the online gallery. The most popular submissions was pieced together in one lovely mix of music and visualizations. The data set is still available for download.
